Herbal flower arrangements

This is one of my favourite combinations and so easy to do.  The calendula plants in my garden are still flowering away even though the leaves have been affected by mildew.  The rosemary is of course evergreen.

This brings a ray of sunshine and natural uplifting fragrance into my room which is great at this time of year.  Who needs yukky artificial air fresheners!

Let me know if you have any favourite combinations.Img_1254

I've been blog tagged

I've been tagged by Tracey Dooley asking me to share 7 random things that you may not know about me and then to tag other blogs of interest.

1.  I've completed the London to Cambridge charity bike ride twice.

2.  I knocked out both front teeth tripping over a door threshold at school at the age of 9 and have had to have dental work as a result from the age of 16 to about 36!  All fine now, phew!

3.  I have an allotment but must admit that my husband does most of the work on it.

4.  I love making myself these two things one of which ain't so good for me:  a home made cappuccino, banana and spinach smoothie - this tastes much better than it sounds!

5.  My favourite scent is violets, closely followed by lemon verbena.

6.  I love learning new things and can't ever remember being bored unless watching a TV  :-)

7.  As a child I used to eat my toast upside down so I could taste the jam/honey first and apparently I chewed bacon rinds as a toddler!?

That is more than enough from me, I hope the following bloggers want to play...
